PERSHING 5X
X for extraordinary talent, performance whose limits are not yet known, constantly evolving DNA. Each new Pershing is a thrill that crosses the globe, from the Mediterranean to north-central Europe, from the United States to South America, and all the way to Asia-Pacific, where Pershing is a cult object for the many powerboat enthusiasts. The result of collaboration between the Strategic Product Committee, Ferretti Group Engineering Department and architect Fulvio De Simoni, Pershing 5X is a racy coupe designed to generate excitement in the more than 80 countries where the brand is marketed. At 16.51 meters (54.2') long with a maximum beam of 4.38 meters (14.4'), she features an original hydraulic swim platform at the stern that can descend more than 50 cm underwater, becoming a comfortable submerged deck for guests and crew. In addition, by installing a protective guardrail that can support a net or canvas made of technical material, the entire area is transformed into a saltwater pool where small guests can play safely. The garage can accommodate a Williams up to 2.8 meters, which slips comfortably into the water with a submerged beach. The cockpit, protected laterally by the two aerodynamic wings, a symbol of the latest Pershing generation, is furnished with a large sundeck and dinette. It can be separated or joined with the interior salon thanks to a new system of opening and closing the glass door and windows.
This solution allows the yacht to be exploited in all weather conditions, thanks to the possibility of installing on board, in addition to air conditioning, a new energy-efficient interior heating system.
The deck is organized into a lounge with dining table, bridge to starboard and second lounge in the bow.
The front part of the canopy is a sliding glass canopy. An additional fixed part, also in crystal, can be added upon request to maximize natural light.
The lower deck is designed around the full beam master suite with private bath.
The traditional version also includes a VIP cabin forward and a dinette opposite the galley.
Alternatively, the dinette can be replaced by a third guest cabin with bunk beds, or by the crew cabin, with independent access from the deckhouse, to provide maximum privacy for guests.
A double engine is planned, which will result in a different engine room layout.
