Cattolica, January 15, 2025 – The first unit of the brand-new Ferretti Yachts 940 was launched on January 15 at the Ferretti Yachts shipyard in Cattolica.

This widebody yacht combines generous spaces and refined design, offering a luxurious and comfortable sailing experience. With an overall length of 28.97 meters and a maximum beam of 6.78 meters, the Ferretti Yachts 940 stands out for its five-cabin layout, featuring a master cabin on the main deck. Its full-height glass walls ensure an extensive sea view, while the exterior layout provides great versatility.

This yacht is the result of collaboration between the Strategic Product Committee, chaired by Engineer Piero Ferrari, and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. The exterior design was curated by architect Filippo Salvetti, while the interiors were designed by IdeaeItalia.

At the stern, the cockpit is furnished with freestanding furniture and features a glass parapet that creates continuity with the aft platform, making it perfect for social moments. The nearly 30 m² salon is accessible through a large sliding glass door and, in this first unit, is decorated in the Classic mood, which evokes warm earth tones for an elegant and welcoming environment.

The Ferretti Yachts 940 is powered by a pair of MAN V12 engines with 2000 mHp, reaching a maximum speed of 25 knots and a cruising speed of 21 knots (preliminary data).
